Q: What is “Ryse: Son of Rome”?
A: “Ryse: Son of Rome” is an immersive action-adventure story of struggle, brutality and heroism, following Roman Soldier Marius Titus as he leads an army and fights to save the Roman Empire. “Ryse: Son of Rome” presents a cinematic recreation of the Roman Empire, its people, conflicts and landscapes in breathtaking detail that represents the graphical benchmark for the next platform generation. Brutal, intense and up-close, “Ryse: Son of Rome” brings close-quarters combat to life.

Q: Why are you only now releasing Ryse for PC? Wasn't it an "Xbox One exclusive"?
A: The game's arrival on PC is a direct response to interest from gamers. We also feel the growing public appetite for 4K experiences makes this the perfect moment to bring it to PC
Q: What are the changes/improvements compared to the Xbox One version?
- The four DLC’s are included at launch
- Game will be on steam at launch (disc & digital version)
- Full steam implementation
- Customizable graphic settings added
- 4k monitor support
- Improved graphics
- Native desktop resolution support for UI in full screen (so it is always crisp regardless the resolution used)
- Mouse & keyboard support implemented
Q: Which operating systems are supported?
A: Windows 64-bit Vista, 7 and 8
Q: Will the game feature micro transactions like the Xbox One version?
A: The PC version of Ryse: Son of Rome will not include any micro transactions. All items can either be unlocked by playing or earning enough in-game gold.
Q: In which languages will “Ryse: Son of Rome” be available?
A: We will be releasing the game in the following languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Russian

A: Ever since Ryse was first announced, we've had huge interest from players who wanted to see a version come to PC. Crytek's reputation as a developer that loves to push tech fueled their interest, and we felt ourselves that this would be an opportunity to show Ryse off in a new light and embrace the most advanced hardware available.
